Besides my Transition, which is more a fulltime job than a hobby, I have many interests and NEVER enough time to pursue them. I love art, drawing portraits mostly but Im doing more oil painting and landscapes. I play piano, practice yoga and of course shopping. I have six grandchildren, so spending time with them is way up on my list of priorities

Anything by Stephen King but I like to read many others, both popular and classics. Dean Koontz, James Patterson, John Grisham are some recent favs, but I enjoy literature in general, Faulkner, Hemingway, O'Conner, Joel C Harris, Dickenson, Bronte. I like poetry, both traditional and Japanese Haiku. Shakesphere gives me orgasms, giggles

My interest in movies runs the gamut really, from the old classics to the newer stuff. I dont generaly catch the new movies til theyve been out for a while.Some favs are "Sling Blade", "Remember the Titans" , " The Stand", Forrest Gump", Meet John Doe- There are many many more. Love Denzel, Jack Nic, Kete Hepburn, Helen Hunt,Gary Cooper, Errol Flynn,- Ive got many favorites both old and new- I mostly like movies that tell a great story!

I know theres not a spot here for TV buts lets go there- I dont care for reality TV of any kind, most network programming in fact sucks, so, if I cant find a movie or a favorite re-run(mash, Cheers, night court, etc) I tend to watch Hist, Disc, or PBS. Probably my favorite program is "The Universe", "Blue Planet",or "Nova"

My interests are fairly well covered here,"my story", or personal history I'll cover in blog so THIS IS ME AT THE PRESENT : I am a pre-op Transexual, having dealt with this issue for a lifetime I am now ready and have taken a few initial steps to transitioning to female. Im not legaly married but have been in LTR with the same gg (Ann) for almost twenty years. She has known from the start I was tg and over time has accepted and supported my becoming female. We have 4 children between us ( 2 boys, 2girls) that are grown with families of their own, they all know Im feminine, especially the girls, but not to what extent. Im intending to come out to family this year.[l]
I am Disabled. I have a spinal condition that threatens to cripple me, but hasnt done so yet ( I have high hopes for stem cell research) The last five years have been especially tough, unable to work, I lost almost everything and Ann and I moved in with her Mom. Only recently have I finally been approved for SSI and been receiving pmts. Now that I have the financial means to move out if necessary, I can now come out to her Mom and start the process-hormones etc, and just hope for acceptance- If our family supports me as Ann has done, the transition will be much easier but its gonna happen regardless-IM READY !!
I DO HAVE A LIFES DREAM- To live on a beach, as a woman, and paint beautiful paintings. I have overcame so many obstacles thus far, this is within my grasp-SRS and FFS may be 2 or 3 yrs away but going fulltime I hope to have by this time next year- a beach place too.[l]
In the meantime: Im unable to drive, even riding in a car for more than a short trip is difficult, so I spend most of my time at home, a lot of it in this very room. I set up a little studio from a spare bedroom, I have my piano, drawing table, computor, TV, everything that keeps me occupied and busy. This computor is my window to the outside world where I plan and implament my future, entertain myself, and make connections in the art and TS world. All of you that Ive met thus far are very special to me !! I love you all !! And I hope and pray that we will be friends for many years to come!! Ignorant or intolerant people! Which there seems to be a lot of in this world, as well as haters of all kinds, violent people, thugs, etc. Ive concluded life is so very precious, and short! Its unlikly that I can chamge the world so I simply strive to experience the best life has to offer.
