Hey Brenda I haven't heard from you in a very long time. How is life treating you? I sure hope that things are going well for you.
I finally got myself into a womens health clinic in Iowa City,Iowa. I was really happily surprised to find out that I am there very first trans person. And that they want to be the premier site for trans care in this area. There currently doing the blood work on me to help start me off right on hormones. I'm scared and excitted all at the same time.
You can read and hear about others journey and what to expect. But for some reason it seems so different when it's your butt on the line. I just keep looking to my future and hoping things will work out for myself.
I have a job once it starts to warm up. I'll be spraying insulation. And once the business is up and running good that my boss is going to put me behind a desk as Josie and have me do customer service and all of the paper work. That is a excitting thought to be able to be my true self and dress in appropriate clothing for work everyday.
My boss is one of those red neck hill billies that could care less that I am trans. He see's me as a person that works hard. I've worked with him before as Josie and he comments on how nice I look and leaves it at that. I told him that once my breast tissue is more developed that I can hear him saying. Come on Jo show us your tits. He said that that is one thing he'll never say to me. I tell him we'll see laughing.
Yep if I have em I'll be showing as much of them as I can legally do. Along with my legs.LOL What can I say it gets dang hot in Iowa in the summer time.

Your local college should have an apptitude test you can take that will let you know where your interests lay. Doing this test will help you to refine your work search. It's there way of helping you to decide on which college courses to take. Now you can just take the test to see where you might go for a career. You being a bartender is just a way to make some extra cash under the table. Bar owners like have sexy hot bartenders working for them. It draws horny guys in to drink more. If you wear a sexy top and a skirt the guys will tip better too. Face it girl your a hot sexy woman. Use it to your advantage and take everything you can while your still young. Plus you can meet some very interesting people while bartending.

Hey girl how are you doing? I haven't heard from you in quite some time now. Have you found work yet? You might try looking in to doing bartender work. Or even be a waitress at a top end restaurant. It all depends on where your at but talent agencies are always looking for models and extras for commercials and for clothing ads.

Hey kid thought I'd stop by and see how you did with applying at Wally World. Then I got this like crazy idea if you got the job like you could take over the womens and misses clothing section. And get some hot clothes in there. Every time I go they never have hardly any skirts or really cute tops. And then lets tallk about the selection in the shoe dept. Barf gag me with a spoon. Not to mention I wear a womens size 12 and what they have in that size rates right up there with building fence. Yeah when I was a kid dad liked to build fence. LOL my dad yousd to tell my sisters and I that he could read us like a book. HA after dad died never knowing his only son felt more like a girl my whole life. I said to one of my sisters that why dad never saw this chapter in my life (laughing). He was to busy thinking I was into drugs. HA ha ha. OK so like when you get hired on there I'm coming over to apply for a job. At least then I won't have to worry about being discriminated against for being trans. Hey girl duh on my part. I just noticed your on line. So I just recently have been talking with Cindy07 on here. She works at Wal-Mart. And they have a policy that covers us T's. So I have been seriously thinking of applying there. Cindy said there insurance is pretty good that it covers allot of the transitioning costs.
My only problem is they may not hire me as most of my job skills fall in the construction fields. The only thing that may be appealing to them would be my strong customer service skills. But you might think about it for yourself. Heck why not for you to be like the very first trans. corporate manager. At least you'd be more dedicated then a guy would be. And they'd never have to worry about you getting pregnant and needing maternity leave.lol

Any who I hope you take the time and give me a ring as I am so stinkin bored. I been trying to find work for like a year now. My last job I was fired for being trans. They'll never admit to it though. So now I've been looking for a full time job when the economy took a big dump. I do odd jobs like roofs and concrete work to get by. But I really need something with bennies to help defer the costs of transitioning. So if you have any ideas for me to try I sure hope that you'll share them with me. I'll talk at cha's later kiddo.
